Can i use vinegar or other acids in AX-1?
Using pure vinegar, vinegar-based mixtures, or raw chemical acids (such as acetic or sulfuric acid) directly in your system can compromise the quality of AX-1 spraying. Although these acids can produce a visible burn-down of foliage, they are corrosive and will significantly shorten the lifespan of your nozzles. Continued use leads to premature wear, uneven or degraded spray patterns, and unnecessary replacement costs.
As a general rule, we recommend using only authorized, approved herbicides that are suitable for application through the AX-1. Products that fall outside this scope can affect both spraying quality and the longevity of the equipment and may not deliver reliable weed control. If you are ever unsure whether a particular product is appropriate for your AX-1, we recommend consulting your agronomic advisor or reaching out to Kilter before use.
