How the height sensors work

One sensor per spraying module measures distance to the first solid surface below (soil or leaves). All sensor readings are filtered and combined into a single boom height estimate that:                                                   

  • Controls boom position - automatically adjusts boom up/down to maintain desired operating nozzle height  (15cm default)                                                                                                                                    
  • Times droplet release - ensures spray droplets are fired at the correct moment based on actual height
