Machine dimensions
The images in this article show the overall dimensions of AX-1.
Dimensions overview

Boom height
The boom can be mounted to the elevator in two different positions; low and high. The height increment between low and high position is 60 mm. This will thus affect the top and bottom height of the boom during use, as shown in the images above/below. With the boom mounted in low position, the boom height can be adjusted from 98 mm, up to 443 mm. With the boom mounted in top position, the boom height can be adjusted from 158 mm, up to 503 mm.

Please note that in both positions, the bumper height will always be 447 mm, even if the boom is higher up. The bumper should not collide with any “solid” objects (except during emergencies) as the robot will then stop its operation.

AX-1 width configurations
AX-1 can be configured to wheel c-c widths ranging from 1550 mm up to 2000 mm center-to-center distance. The width adjustment increments are 10 mm. The adjustments are performed using wheel spacers. AX-1 is delivered with C-C wheel widths according to customer specifications. If you want to adjust the wheel width yourself, additional wheel spacers, correct bolts and nuts can be purchased from Kilter.

There are two spray widths available; 5 and 6 spray modules. The 5 spray module configuration can be used at any C-C wheel widths, while the 6 spray module configuration can only be used at C-C wheel widths of 1660 mm and wider.

Bed limitations
The AX-1 motor housing has a height of 267 mm, and a free width between them of “C-C wheel width” – 517 mm.
