My AX-1 is turning too early/late in the headland, how do I correct that?

The headland tracks generated in Kilter Farm are based on the data available at the time of route creation and may need fine-tuning once the robot is operating in the actual field. This is normal and expected, headland adjustment is a standard part of getting a route working well.

The correction is made in the Route Editor in Kilter Remote, while connected to the robot:

  1. Open the Route Editor and select your route.
  2. Switch to Headland in the route selection drop-down.
  3. Adjust the headland segment, shift it further out if the robot is turning too early, or closer in if it is turning too late.
  4. Once the headland is in the right position, use the fit to headland button to re-align the route segments to the updated headland.

For a full walkthrough of the Route Editor, including how to shift segments and use the fit-to-headland function, see Route editor — Kilter Remote.
