My AX-1 is turning too early/late in the headland, how do I correct that?
The headland tracks generated in Kilter Farm are based on the data available at the time of route creation and may need fine-tuning once the robot is operating in the actual field. This is normal and expected, headland adjustment is a standard part of getting a route working well.
The correction is made in the Route Editor in Kilter Remote, while connected to the robot:
- Open the Route Editor and select your route.
- Switch to Headland in the route selection drop-down.
- Adjust the headland segment, shift it further out if the robot is turning too early, or closer in if it is turning too late.
- Once the headland is in the right position, use the fit to headland button to re-align the route segments to the updated headland.
