Getting the correct data from your tractor.
For the robot to navigate the field correctly, it is crucial that the path it follows is as accurate as possible. If the robot's path deviates from the designated tracks, it will miss the intended driving lanes, risking damage to both the crops and the field.
To achieve the best results, we recommend using the tractor's GPS log from the operation that best defines the driving lanes, including the position of the implement behind the tractor. It is essential to ensure that the tractor and the implement are correctly configured. For setup instructions, please refer to the tractor manufacturer's manuals.
You can also generate driving lanes from AB lines created by the tractor. This method is recommended only for flat fields with straight driving lanes generated by a single AB line. If the field is not completely flat, the difference in how the robot and the tractor compensate for lateral slope can result in incorrect driving lanes.
