Which NTRIP Mount-point should i use?
An NTRIP mountpoint is a specific correction data stream provided by your RTK correction service. Most providers offer multiple mountpoints, each with different configurations and covering different satellite constellations, geographic areas, or update rates. Choosing the right one ensures the AX-1 receives the best possible corrections for your location.
What to look for
The AX-1 supports all major GNSS constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou) and uses RTCM v3.x correction messages. When selecting a mountpoint, choose one that:
- Is compatible with RTCM v3.x
- Covers as many of the AX-1's supported constellations as possible (ideally all four)
If you are unsure which mountpoint to use, contact your correction service provider and ask for the recommended mountpoint for your region and equipment type.
If you're still not getting RTK Fix
Switching to a different mountpoint can sometimes resolve issues where the robot remains in RTK Float. See I'm unable to obtain "RTK fix for the full troubleshooting steps.
