This article describes how to strap the AX-1 for transportation.
Secure the front wheels
The two front wheels shall be secured by using car lashing straps around the wheels as illustrated in the pictures below. Attach the hooks of the straps to eye bolts, lifting eyes, holes or other suitable location on your transportation equipment. Ensure that the straps are tightened adequately, but avoid over-tightening to prevent damage.
Prevent tipping by securing the rear wheel
The rear wheel needs to be secured with a cargo strap to prevent forward tipping of the AX-1 during transport.
The cargo strap shall not be overly thightened as this can result in stress on the frame that potentially results in bending of the frame.
To secure the back wheel attach a strap carefully as shown in the picture below, close to the rear wheel, ensuring it is snug but not overly tightened.
